  1. Did you like the One-Hundred-Year-Old-Man...? It sounds interesting! The beginning sounds in some ways like how the first Lord of the Rings book began, with Bilbo skipping out on his own birthday party!

    1. Yes I absolutely loved it! It made me laugh out loud so many times and I just love books that can do that! :) I never read LOTR but it reminded me of "Forrest Gump" (the book & movie) because it has that same "coincidental" story line :)

  3. I hardly read anything last year as 2014 and 2015 were my 2 years where I was learning french in my spare time (tough but highly enriching.)

Back to the books this year. So I'll be paying attention to your reading list. 2 books I can reccommend to you though are

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Georges-Alexandre-Dumas/dp/1500612634/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1452174368&sr=1-1&keywords=georges+alexandre+dumas

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cellist-Sarajevo-Steven-Galloway/dp/1843547414/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1452174510&sr=1-1&keywords=the+cellist+of+sarajevo+by+steven+galloway

Not sure if I previously recommended the 2nd one. The 1st one is in my opinion the best piece of historical literature to have come out of Mauritius.

    1. Hi Sacha! Impressive effort with the French!

Did you read "Georges" in French? I will add it to my list. The "Cellist of Sarajevo" is also on my list and I remember you recommending it. Of the books I've recently read, I'd highly recommend "The First Fifteen Lives of Harry August". The first few chapters were a bit slow but then I couldn't put it down!
